History

Rossini International, was founded in the 1980’s in Monselice (near Venice, Italy) when pioneer Mauro Rossini, revolutionised solar shading systems, by inserting controlled venetian blinds in an insulated glass unit. The same spirit that helped building the company more than thirty years ago is still applied in the innovation that drives the development of technically advanced solutions and the constant growth of Rossini International brand. Mauro Rossini has never ceased to amaze the experts in the sector and to provide the design world with technically and aesthetically spot on solutions, increasingly focusing particular attention on the future and energy savings.

While the idea of putting a venetian blind into a double glass has been explored by many, this has always shown three weak points that burn over time: limit switches, electronics and motor, parts inside the structure that would require an expensive and difficult maintenance. The designer had always been wary of the product on large works, especially when it comes to making entire facades of important buildings.

The Rossini International PartLight system has overcome this obstacle by patenting the first magnetic command for this kind of system, an innovation that allows to take the three critical elements outside the panel. In doing so, long time guarantee is ensured because it is possible to replace all the pieces without necessarily needing skilled labor, allowing the product to be reliable even on large surfaces.

Rossini International’s latest innovation is the use of a latest-generation touch that replaces the old venetian blind scroll button, chasing a new gesture of the user accustomed to smartphones and tablets. Furthermore, all the dimming systems can be connected to a Bas system, where domotics can meet energy needs: being able to automatically manage all the solar protections of a building, divided into groups and subgroups, allows to protect from the sun's rays during day, but also to create thermal insulation during the night. Thus avoiding a significant dispersion of heat that would otherwise affect heating costs.

Rossini International has good intentions for the future: to support designers in ambitious modern architectures without having to spend anything on maintenance, and to focus on internal LED lighting with low energy consumption, in order to create unique and special effects for the night skyline.
